Maria Veikhman, CEO and founder of SCORISTA, shared the results of 2020 and plans for the future:

1. In your opinion, which 3 words may describe 2020?

I would say, 2020 - is the year of getting rid of illusions, totally and without exceptions. It was an uncompromising, discouraging and happy year. This year has shown the reality as it is – the real value of the business, who are truly your people from the team, who are your clients. This year has stripped away all disguises and revealed the value of everyone. So, there was a big revaluation.

2. Which plans of SCORISTA have been implemented over the past year?

Well, we didn't have any huge plans for 2020, we just wanted to renovate our borrower assessment system. We focused on automating of the modeling process and collecting of decision-making algorithms. We have significantly improved the reporting system and switched to our own task manager module. Now our activities have become transparent to our clients.

3. What are you grateful to 2020 for?

I am grateful for everything in 2020. Thank you so much for this exciting ride. Without jokes, my dream to work on the remote mode came true, it turned out to be 3 times more effective than in the office. We managed to build a unique system for automating of scoring cards building and their ensembling, which is convenient exactly for us, so now we work 2-3 hours less per day, and the routine has been reduced by 80%. Moreover, we fully operate in China. 2020 taught us to live and act in a period of uncertainty. I am grateful for the rotation of people in my environment. Welcome to the one who has come, and God bless you to the one who has gone. Most importantly, no matter what, we closed the year with a profit, even if it's small, but with a profit.

4. What are the plans of SCORISTA for 2021?

In our time, it is difficult to talk about plans, I would rather tell about wishes. Our wishes to ourselves are: mainly, to return to the level of income like it was in Russia in 2018, then increase income in China and Ukraine at least 3 times, reduce the working week to 4 days due to automation. At the same time, to serve double more customers than now. Friday is going to be spent on professional growth and participation in modeling competitions. We would like to receive 3 prize awards in 2021. It would be a huge bonus for us, if our subsidiary project ANTAVIRA would earn recognition and reach self-sufficiency by the end of 2021. Perhaps, we will continue to expand into Nigeria and India, but let's see how it will turn out.
